CBD for pets, done carefully
Dogs and cats need far less CBD than people, and cats are more sensitive than dogs. Our pet oil is deliberately weak per drop so you can give a few milligrams accurately. It contains no THC. Start low, give it with food, and check with your vet if your pet takes medication.

The CBD Oil for Pets uses CBD isolate, the same 99%+ pure CBD as our human oils, at a much lower strength. A human-strength oil holds three to six times more CBD per drop, which makes small amounts hard to measure for a cat or a small dog.
How much CBD for a dog or cat?
The right amount depends on your pet's weight. Start at the low end, give the same amount for about a week, and watch how your pet responds before changing anything. Our Dose Finder has a dog and cat calculator that works out a starting amount in milligrams and drops from your pet's exact weight. Cats should stay at the low end; they process CBD differently and are less studied than dogs.
How to give CBD oil to your pet
Most owners put the drops on a small amount of food or a treat. You can also place them inside the cheek. Give it at the same time each day, with food, and start on a day you are home so you can see how your pet reacts.
Keeping your pet safe
- Never give your pet products made for people that contain THC, including Delta-8. THC is dangerous for dogs and cats.
- Store all CBD and THC products sealed and out of reach. If your pet eats a gummy, call your vet or an animal poison line straight away.
- Talk to your vet first if your pet is pregnant, nursing, elderly or on medication.
- Stop and call your vet if you see vomiting, unusual tiredness or wobbliness.

How much do I give my dog?
It depends on weight. Start at the low end and hold it for a week. The Dose Finder works out a starting amount from your dog's exact weight.
Can cats have it?
Yes, at the low end, and with your vet's input. Cats absorb CBD differently and are less studied.
Can I give my pet the human oil?
You can give a THC-free human oil, but it is stronger per drop, so the pet oil is easier to measure for small animals. Never give a pet a Delta-8 product.
Can I give it every day?
Many owners do. Start low, watch how your pet responds over a week, and ask your vet, especially for older pets or pets on medication.
My pet ate a Delta-8 gummy. What do I do?
Call your vet or an animal poison line right away. THC products, including Delta-8, are dangerous for dogs and cats.
How long does a bottle last?
A 30 ml bottle holds thirty 1 ml droppers. For a small dog or a cat on a few drops a day, that is several months.
