What is CBD?

CBD, or cannabidiol, is a cannabinoid found in cannabis plants such as hemp and marijuana. Unlike THC, another major cannabinoid, CBD does not cause psychoactive effects. Although clinical trials and studies are ongoing, anecdotal evidence suggests that CBD may provide a variety of therapeutic benefits, including the treatment of chronic pain, inflammation, anxiety, poor sleep, and epilepsy.

What is CBD Oil?

CBD oil is a sublingual tincture. It is made by mixing a CBD extract from a cannabis plant into a base such as MCT oil or alcohol. CBD oil is meant to be held under the tongue and absorbed directly into the bloodstream. This method provides a faster effect than other methods such as ingestion via capsules or edibles.

What are the benefits of using CBD?

CBD has shown to have several beneficial effects, such as alertness, relaxation, reduction of pain and inflammation, reduction of anxiety or depression, anti-nausea, antioxidant, anticonvulsant, anti-tumor, anti-seizure, and neuroprotective. CBD has also been found to be useful in treating conditions that have not responded well to conventional treatments.

Will CBD get you high?

CBD is considered a non-psychoactive cannabinoid, meaning it does not cause the same high as THC. Some users report a subtle feeling of relaxation or mental clarity, but CBD does not have a sedative effect on its own.

What is the difference between CBD Hemp Oil and CBD Cannabis Oil?

CBD hemp oil is derived from hemp plants and contains little to no THC, while CBD cannabis oil is made from marijuana plants and may contain higher levels of THC.
