Choosing CBD for arthritis, joint pain and recovery

Adults with arthritis, stiff joints or sore muscles after activity are some of our most regular customers. We can't tell you that CBD will treat arthritis or relieve pain: no CBD product sold in Canada is approved for that, and research in people is still early. What we can do is explain our products plainly, so you can choose a format and a strength, start low and judge for yourself. CBD oil or CBD gummies for joint pain?

Oil taken under the tongue usually starts within 15 to 45 minutes and lets you change the amount a few drops at a time, so it suits people who want to find their own level. Gummies go through the stomach, so they take 30 minutes to two hours to start, but they last longer, typically four to six hours, and need no measuring. Many customers use the oil during the day and keep gummies for the evening.

How much CBD to start with

Start low and change one thing at a time. Half a dropper of the 1000 mg oil, about 17 mg of CBD, or half a gummy, 25 mg, once a day for three days is a sensible beginning. If you want to adjust, change the amount by a small step and hold it again for a few days. If you take other medication

This matters more than usual here, because many people with arthritis take medicine every day. CBD can interact with some prescription drugs, including blood thinners such as warfarin, some anti-seizure medicines and other medicines broken down by the liver. Ask your pharmacist before you start, tell your doctor you are taking CBD, and don't stop or change a prescribed treatment because you are trying CBD.

THC-free CBD or Delta-8 THC?

Our CBD Gummies and THC-Free CBD Oil Isolate are made with CBD isolate, which is 99%+ pure CBD with no THC, so they won't make you high. That is where most people start. The two Delta-8 products contain Delta-8 THC, which is psychoactive. Some adults prefer them in the evening. They will likely show on a drug test, and you should not drive after taking them.
